The end of Match

Photobucket

somewhere down the line
they lost love and connection
the wires are broken

On October 24, 2011 I started the facebook group Match.
Every week (every 2 weeks during the holiday season) I posted a poem in Haiku form in the facebook group “Match”. The challenge was to post a photo matching this poem. Four nominees and one one winner were selected, which was always a tough job for me, because the photos were always excellent! All poems are displayed below.

It was fun but as my Grandma said: “All good things come to an end” .
So Match will be closed on September 4.

Thank you all very much for all your beautiful photos!
The winner and nominees of the 35th round of Match will be announced here.

Thanks to the admins Titti Yttersjö, Susana Mabel Campo, Dominique Pellissier, Lea De Meulenaere, Judith Bartos, Kay Duke and Laura Carlsson.
Special thanks to Karin Fors, the (head) admin who was always there for Match and Anne-Birgitte Brandt for making the beautiful collages!

I hope we will stay friends.

Sincerely, Jan Marius Franzen

  3. I’m so sad to hear that Jan. Match is a wonderful group , among the very best groups in Facebook. I’m honored that I had the privilege to be one of the administrators for some time…my health and other issues made me leave the “job” but I carried on being part of it through my participation in the challenges.
The best of luck to you and to your radio show!
    Hugs
    Laura

Jan, i can’t find a word that MATCH my sorrow reading the news at this moment that you are leaving or the end of these thread. Although i’m not a great photographer, participating or being a member of your group is a great privilege for me, knowing you and all other splendid admins & members.
Well, i appreciate and respect your decision.
Wish you all the best of luck on whatever life may bring on your way ahead….GOD BLESS❤
