De Meelfabriek (The Flour Factory)

The “Meelfabriek” (Flour Factory) is an industrial complex of several large buildings in the city of Leiden, Holland. It produced flour from different types of grain, brought in by boats on the canal. It grew in different phases from 1883 until 1988, when production was closed down.

  2. Haunting memories for those who it once employed ..Now dark and dank ..a silent reminder standing proudly … leaving behind broken and shattered dreams perhaps.
